First Impressions Of A Growing Brand Agency

In the first of a series of three posts about working at a growing brand agency, Faye Taylor, Senior Account Manager joined us at the start of June and shares her early experiences of working at rbl…

At rbl growth is inevitable, I can say that with confidence after two weeks working alongside Head of Client Services, Karen Newbold. How can I be so sure after just 10 days with rbl?

It’s not hard to take notice that we’ve outgrown our current home, we’re in need of that family home with a spare room and sprawling garden (not only to house our office dog Buddy). Thankfully we’ve set the wheels in motion for more space and I’m sure – at rapid pace – we’ll see even more success stories in partnership with our clients.

My aim is to quickly learn the ropes and become the voice of the client internally, ensuring that the clients’ needs and requirements are clearly understood and act as an advocate for their brand at all times.

Fast paced and challenging

After 10 years working in-house, most notably managing new product development launches on behalf of leading floorcare provider; Vax supporting retail partners: Sainsbury’s, John Lewis and Currys PC World I gained an understanding of how to navigate fast paced and challenging industries, including retail, automotive and education, I would hope to be well placed to hit the ground running, the team couldn’t have offered me a warmer welcome, I felt part of the family from day one.

Agency vibes

Walking through the doors of the stylish office in the heart of Leamington Spa, all the great agency vibes hit me instantly, a sea of Macs, a buzzing atmosphere and great coffee! A rarity in offices spaces these days, everyone’s welcome to join us for a cup. rbl is a breath of fresh air, vibrant and with a passion for delivery, I’m excited to have joined a branding agency during a time of growth, there is an air of excitement for what the next 3, 6, or 12 months will bring us with both new and current clients.
